A strong focus on community underpins MAG-NZ. Fundraising and charity rides are a pivotal part of what MAG-NZ is all about. As bikers we are also citizens of the wider community and are well known and respected for the work we do to raise money for charity organisations. In fact it could be said that the bikers get as big a kick out of participating in a toy run for sick children, as the recipients of the toys do.
MAG-NZ have chosen the NZ Spinal Trust to be our charity of choice and are looking forward to planning a fun event to support them in the near future.
Previous events have seen us raise money and smiles in the following ways;
May 1st 2010 saw our first compass protest ride for the year combine with a fundraiser for Rape Crisis. It seemed fitting that we support a cause that is being badly affected by the changes that are being brought to ACC at the moment. It was very satisfying to hand over the sum of $295.40.
November 22nd 2009 saw our rolling protest ride combine with a toy run for Heart Children.

This is Charlotte and though she belies the fact she has a heart problem (lovely chubby limbs), she is one of many that benefited by your generosity.
